Hi, I'm Alicia - the maker behind I AM Studio.

My jewellery making journey began in early 2000, when i fell in love with the creative freedom it offered. Over the years, i explored using different mediums like Swarovski crystal, beads and chain, polymer clay and resin. While i enjoyed the artistic process, nothing quite felt like the right fit for me.

I stepped away from jewellery making to focus on my full time management job, but in 2023, a workplace injury became an unexpected (but long overdue!) turning point - prompting me to reimagine my path and return to creativity.

That's when i discovered the Lost Wax technique: an ancient, accessible form of fine jewellery making that instantly clicked. It felt like everything i'd been searching for. Since then, i've immersed myself in Lost Wax and stone setting courses, and silversmithing classes.

I AM Studio is the heart of that journey - a space where my love of craft and creativity meets purpose. The name primarily comes from my initials, A.M., but also reflects something more: a reminder of self expression and identity
